Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum 2 years Mechanical Experience
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Knowledge of open pit mining preferred
Basic knowledge of Lube systems
Basic welding skills
Hand/power tool familiarity
Ability to read diagrams/blue prints
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Valid Drivers License
Ability to read precision measurement tools
Basic knowledge of pneumatics
Heavy equipment operation experience
Basic Rigging Knowledge
Preferred
Experience with Overhead Cranes
Experience with Alignment tools
Understanding advanced hydraulics
Millwright/Crusher Experience
Ability to lead and teach
Experience with SOP’s
Welding certifications
Maintenance Background
Responsibilities
Rebuild water/slurry pump parts
Rebuild pneumatic/manual/hydraulic valves
Weld and fabricate
Adhere to safety protocols
Tracking builds, materials, tools, and equipment pertaining to company standards.
Maintaining equipment (trucks, tools, PPE) to company standards
Good Communication
Ability to solve problems
Quality Control
Housekeeping
Ability to travel
